Street light is one of the most important light source for the public during the night time either city nor the village street lighting is very essential to the people to travel or utilise the road in safety manner. Street lighting can be used in highway, residential streets and collages, school campus, etc.
The street light poles can be start from 3meter height to 9mtr height depends on the condition of the site and customer requirements. Most of the street light poles are with LED fittings only.
It names itself says that ‘octa’ means eight hence the shape of the pole is octagonal which eight side of bending to increase the strengthen of the pole. It is the type of street light pole which can be used at residential area, commercial area, industrial Area etc. It is continuously tapered with octagonal shape. These Poles are hot dip galvanized with 85-90 microns. The bracket of the poles will be designed according to the customer requirement like single bracket, double bracket and ring bracket.
The major accessories of the octagonal pole are foundation bonnets and brackets. There will be channel provision given inside the pole for fixing the MCB switches. The wiring can be lay inside the pole itself for the light fittings.
The base plate and the thickness of the poles can be designed according to the site conditions. Normal thickness of the pole will be 3 mm sheet. Octagonal poles will be e starting from the height 3mtr to 10mtr.
Octagonal poles are produced from high grade hot rolled steel coils by an automated procedure of cutting and folding /pressing the trapezoidal sheet into octagonal shape and welding the sides longitudinally by submerged arc welding. Two types of swaged pole one base plate and another is digging type. For the base plate type the foundation Bolt nut and templates will be provided. for digging Type 1mtr long will be provided from the total height of pole which will dig inside the ground.
Tubular pole just a round pipe provide with single and double arm bracket. These kinds of poles will be mostly digging type of installation.
